Standbothsides

Semicom are assisting Transport for London in improving crowd flow in the Tube

In April 2016, TfL began a trial to modernise a rule from the 1920s, to stand on both sides of the escalator. Studies have proven that during rush-hour times, standing on both sides allow more people to flow off the escalator than by having them stand on the right, and allowing people to walk down the left.

To assist in this trial, Semicom have supplied custom dual-sided Bar LCD screens to update the old safety messages.
